Well what can I say great service and Donuts and Coffee. Disappointed that No Gluten Free,So I guess until they do I will be having only coffee.
Looney Baker is a must-visit. The Looney Bread is absolutely amazing, and I have purchased them by the dozens over the years to share with friends and at group functions. No one - no one - is ever disappointed! And it is not just the Looney Bread, but the donuts compete well against Donutville U.S.A. and Donutown. Looney Baker is a weekly stop for me, even if I live 25 minutes away! Even my dog knows the way to the Looney Baker, and he always gets a couple of donut holes!
Went there on Fat Tuesday for Paczkis and really enjoyed them. The drive-through line was huge, so I parked and went in, and there was barely a line. I was in and out in 5 minutes with a dozen. They only sell paczkis when it is Fat Tuesday, so don't expect to find donuts on that day of the year! They had custard, lemon, apple, raspberry, and chocolate cream. We didn't try the apple or lemon but got the others. The only one I didn't care for was the chocolate cream, since the filling had the taste and consistency of a cake frosting... not quite what I was expecting. The custard and raspberry were both delicious, though!
It's paczki time so I decided to try Looney's. I purchased the apple and cream filled paczki. They were very large, tasty, and enough to share. The dough was light and not overly sweet. They were priced at $3 each. A friendly young man took care of me and made recommendations. The bakery appeared clean when I visited around 10 AM. To me paczkis are similar to bismarcks (jelly filled donuts) but larger. Yes, I would recommend this place.
The staff members are extremely nice. The donuts are fantastic. They have a lot of options. I loved the cherry donut! Their coffee is out of a machine (like the gas station type coffee) but it tastes delicious. I love the french vanilla cappuccinos. Their other drinks (like juice and pop) are canned/bottled. The only thing that was disappointing was that they have no indoor seating! It looks like they used to but closed it and never reopened it. It would be so cute and nice to go there and sit at the counter! I wish they would reopen their seating.
Looney bread specialty is good, but there donuts, and various cinnamon rolls were tasty too. Service with a smile and the local vibes made this place extra nice.
Great donuts Decent coffee Good drive thru with pleasant service I would recommend getting a bunch of donut holes or donuts for the workplace which is what I did. Everyone loved them
This place is absolutely fabulous. I'm really glad we drove out of the way to get here. It's kind of tucked back if you blink you missed it however, these two items are substantially delicious and especially the loony ride. It really taste like someone's grandmother made it. I'm a huge fan of apples and Mason specifically in the fall so this is really hitting the spot for me !
